Production Planner x 2

Location: Glenfield and BarrowSalary: up to £38,000 per annumRota Structure/s:

the choice of 4 on 3 off shift pattern (Sunday–Wednesday) or 4 on 3 off (Wednesday–Saturday)
Week 1 - 7am - 5pm
Week 2 – 10am - 8pm

Join an innovative, growth-focused company supplying major retailers in the food service industry. As a Production Planner, you’ll play a vital role in the supply chain department, acting as the central communication hub between suppliers, production, hauliers, and other key stakeholders. This position requires a skilled communicator with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and communicate effective production plans to optimise sales and minimise costs.
Update production schedules based on customer orders and coordinate with third parties.
Manage flour purchasing and transport logistics to ensure materials and deliveries align with production needs.
Work with hauliers and suppliers to streamline logistics and reduce costs.

Skills & Experience:

3+ years in a production planning within a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills and calm under pressure.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in supply chain systems and Excel; knowledge of Sage 200 is a plus.
