Fleet Vehicle Workshop Assistant

  • Contract Duration: Temporary 3-6 months initially

Join the Driver and Vehicle Management Team, to play a crucial role in managing and controlling fleet in terms of compliance, maintenance, procurement, hire, and drivers. This position involves assisting with technical data analysis and administrative processes, ensuring all operations adhere to current legislation and performance standards.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the core processes of the department, including the day-to-day running of the team.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers of the fleet vehicle workshop, ensuring timely and professional resolution of queries and complaints.
  • Liaise with the workshop management team to process and resolve all customer queries.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle management system, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process invoices for goods and services, manage financial matters, and handle queries from suppliers.
  • Communicate maintenance schedules to clients and assist with rescheduling appointments.
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of supplier performance and contribute to service evaluations.
  • Assist in the vehicle insurance claims process and prepare documentation for the insurance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong administrative and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information securely.
  • Familiarity with vehicle management systems is a plus.
