The Traffic & Customs Supervisor position is located in Desford and offers a rate of up to £35.06 per hour on an umbrella contract.
This is a 3-year contract with a high potential for permanent employment, starting ASAP.
The role involves leading a team of five and managing customs compliance, transportation logistics, and risk controls for engine parts and products.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in transport, customs, logistics, or compliance, along with strong knowledge of customs regulations.
Leadership experience or subject matter expertise is required, and while a degree is ideal, applications from experienced professionals without formal qualifications are welcomed.

About the Role:In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and support a team of five, ensuring the smooth movement of Engine parts and products across international borders. You’ll play a key role in managing customs compliance, transportation logistics, and associated risk controls. This opportunity arises due to internal progression—the current manager is stepping into a new role—so we’re looking for someone ready to make an impact and grow with us long-term. Key Skills & Experience:

3–5 years in transport, customs, logistics, or compliance
Strong understanding of customs regulations and risk management
Microsoft 365 proficiency; experience with customs platforms (e.g., Ricardo and PowerBI) desirable
Previous leadership experience OR subject matter expertise
Knowledge of health & safety regulations in logistics environment.
A degree would be ideal, but we welcome applications from experienced professionals without formal qualifications.
