Production Coordinator £32,000 - £35,000Leicester Full time based on site with 12pm finish on a Friday My client is an established manufacturing business who is looking to recruit an experienced Production Coordinator to join him on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a thriving business who continues to grow.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment where they will spin many plates.The role 

  • Ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Internal
  • Report daily stocks to all third customers, ensuring discrepancies and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. 
  • Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to.
  • Assist with material transactions. 
  • Act as main point of contact for suppliers and supply chain.
  • Responsible for ordering materials whilst managing stock levels.
  • Resolving any issues regarding change of schedules, material shortages and urgent customer queries
  • Ensure all production enquiries are dealt with. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for supply chain queries.
  • Ensure all ISO requirements are adhered to
  • Assist other departments with allocation of orders.
  • Input all customer orders into CRM, ensuring resources are available, orders are delivered on time to meet the customers requirements. 

The candidate 

  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages such as Excel and Windows 
  • High attention detail and accuracy 
  • Must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment and a background within production data and reporting. 
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a team environment, effectively working with other departments. 
  • Relationship building experience with customers and other internal departments.
