Maintenance Engineer - Multiskilled. Our client is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a critical role where you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising production equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operations. Our client is an independent manufacturing company based in Leicestershire. They are known for their commitment to innovation and quality, serving a diverse range of customers while maintaining high operational standards.

Shifts: The position involves rotating weekly shifts (days, afternoons, nights) from Monday to Friday. About the Company: Maintenance Engineer - Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth operation. - Quickly respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing issues and completing repairs to reduce downtime. - Implement preventive maintenance schedules and perform tasks according to manufacturer recommendations. - Work collaboratively with the production team to prioritize maintenance tasks and support ongoing operational improvements. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment performance, and issues encountered. - Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintenance Engineer - Requirements:- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment, with both electrical and mechanical expertise. - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to repair complex equipment. - Familiarity with PLC systems and automated manufacturing processes. - Full Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available for this role.) - Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
