Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineer working a continental shift pattern (2 x 12-hour days, 2 x 12-hour nights, followed by 4 days off), you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving production line efficiency. This position offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives, HMIs, relay logic, and instrumentation.
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and maintain reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and document machine modifications, including electrical panel work and PLC programming.
- Train apprentices and support production teams using your technical expertise.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, adopting safe work practices and using appropriate PPE.
- Complete accurate documentation, inspections, and reports, flagging major faults to management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
- PLC and Variable Speed AC Drive experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments and electrical installations.
