We are seeking a proactive and skilled Dual-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining site compliance, enhancing safety, and ensuring the efficiency of all assets. You will work to achieve uptime and productivity goals, contributing directly to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain plant and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Complete all planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities and promptly address any non-compliance issues.
  • Support Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) culture and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out repairs and installation of parts and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in training operators for effective maintenance practices.
  • Support major shutdowns, including seasonal periods, and provide emergency call-out support when needed.
  • Focus on reducing downtime of electrical control systems and drive improvements in electrical systems.
  • Document modifications and maintain accurate data in line with company standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Engineer with City & Guilds or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in service-driven production/process industries.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation in manufacturing environments.
  • Full clean UK Driving License.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a positive and flexible attitude.
