UPS Maintenance Engineer - Inverters

Location: Leicester, England

Our client is looking for an experienced UPS Maintenance Engineer to join their team, playing a key role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining uninterruptible power supply(UPS) systems, inverters, and IGBT-based power equipment.

This exciting opportunity involves working on critical infrastructure to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for the UPS Maintenance Engineer job based in Leicestershire :

  • Diagnose and repair UPS systems, inverters, and IGBT-based power devices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify issues and provide effective repair solutions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and software updates on UPS units and associated systems.
  • Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Document maintenance activities, parts used, and generate service reports to ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to clients both on-site and remotely.

Qualifications and Experience Required for this UPS Maintenance Engineer job based in Leicestershire:

  • Proven experience with UPS systems, inverters, and IGBT-based power devices.
  • Familiarity with electrical installations, maintenance techniques, and fault troubleshooting.
  • City and Guilds/ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent technical certification or degree is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and maintenance software.
