Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical/Multi-Skilled
Leicester- Manufacturing
£40,000 - £43,000 per annum
Rotational Shift: 6:00 - 14:00 Monday- Friday / 14:00-00:00 Monday-Thursday (one Saturday per month)
Typical duties will involve:
- Conducting immediate repairs on various plant and equipment in a safety-critical environment.
- Completing scheduled maintenance tasks within the designated time frames.
- Working on diverse production lines and equipment, including assembly lines, test and calibration tools, air tools, spindles, assembly jigs, conveyors, and both overhead and jib cranes.
- Participating in equipment installations, facility maintenance, light fabrication tasks, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize unplanned downtime and enhance OEE.
- Delivering top-tier engineering support to the production department and the broader business.
Desirable experience:
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Systematic approach to diagnosing faults.
- Experience with PLC/PLS systems..
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong focus on Health & Safety.
