This well established company produce a range of specialist manufacturing equipment for clients around the UK. They have seen a recent increase in the demand for their products, and are now going through a period of expansion. Due to this, they are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expert team.
In this role you will be tasked with producing 2D & 3D drawings for a range of precision engineered parts. This will involve design for manufacture, producing layouts, and supporting the production team when required. In addition to this you will be provided with extensive training in order for you to become an expert within their industry.
This role would therefore suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from a manufacturing background who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to train within a specialist industry.
The Role:
- Design for specialist manufacturing equipment
- Producing 2D & 3D drawings
- Support production department
- 35,000 - 42,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Pension
The Person:
- Proven experience with mechanical design
- Background in manufacturing
- Strong 2D & 3D CAD skills
- Ideally used AutoCAD & Inventor
- Commutable to Leicester
