We are currently looking for junior, senior and principal mechanical design engineers to join our client, a leading engineering consultancy providing design services to the energy sector. With sites in Leicester, Nottingham, and Ruddington.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing high-pressure pipeline and plant systems, ensuring that all work meets high engineering standards while staying within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. You will be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and conscientious about the quality of your work, leading by example. The role requires quick learning and the ability to work methodically both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also have a strong awareness of and commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures related to design and construction activities.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and hold a Mechanical Engineering degree accredited by the IMechE with a minimum of a 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours). You should have, or be working towards, Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
