We are currently recruiting for a well established client in the heart of the Leicester area who are seeking a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team. -Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00-Manufacturing Environment.-Salary up to £45,000 depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment.* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.* Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment.* Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes.* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications and Experience:* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Maintenance Engineering.* Proven experience in a maintenance role within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.* Strong communication and teamwork skills.If you feel like this could be your next role, then please hit apply and we will be in touch!
