Project Engineer – Leicestershire  

£30.00 - £35.00ph (Outside IR35)

Monday to Thursday 0830 – 1700 & Friday (Apply online only)

Initial 3 Months contract with possible extension  

 

Our client is a market leader in air control systems, providing services to industries such as recycling, printing, packaging, and canning. This international business offers comprehensive solutions from initial design to project management and installation.

 

They are seeking a qualified candidate with expertise in air systems, filtration, and waste management, If you have experience in these fields and want to contribute to cutting-edge projects worldwide, we want to hear from you!

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

• To manage Small to Medium size projects from receipt of order to commissioning, on time, within budget and to the customer’s satisfaction

• Design and detail layouts and components to a proficient level 

• Complete relevant general arrangement and fabrication drawings 

• Check accuracy and quality of drawings

• Communicate with customer regarding project progress

• Liaise with suppliers regarding requirements, costs and performance 

• Identify and order relevant parts 

• Monitor costs to maximise gross profit on each contract 

• Organise installation teams and ensure satisfactory performance on site 

• Organise deliveries

• Complete contracts on time

 

 The Project must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

• Suitably qualified in Engineering

• Able to use AutoCAD.

• Product knowledge of air system components would be an advantage but not essential.

• Good communication and customer relation skills (verbal, written and telephone) with staff, suppliers and customers.

• Excellent organisational skills - able to prioritise tasks to ensure completion of projects within deadlines.

• Flexibility to cater for changes to schedule.

• Pride in work to ensure every project is completed to a satisfactory standard.

• Product knowledge of air system components would be an advantage but not essential.

• Good teamworking skills, Efficient problem-solving skills, Confident decision-making ability

• Understanding of the health & safety risks associated with each installation to enable the writing of risk assessments and method statements.

• Able to use basic Microsoft applications
