A Service Engineer is sought to join a globally recognised Company, who are shaping the plastics processing of the future through the development and production of injection moulding machines, technologies and digital solutions.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Engineer will visit customers throughout the UK to install, start-up, maintain and troubleshoot on injection moulding machines, automation and associated equipment.
This is a Business that invests heavily in their team, with opportunities to further train and develop within.
As a Service Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to -
- Equipment installation and commissioning
- Start-up and customer support
- Maintenance of equipment at customers' premises throughout the UK
- Troubleshooting
- Machine relocation
- Service administration tasks
- Safety and Quality activities
To be successful in the role of Service Engineer, the ideal Candidate will -
- Have an engineering qualification and training
- Have a recognised electrical qualification
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding machines and automation
- Be comfortable using notebooks and PCs with knowledge of MS products
- Be methodical, with good attention to detail
- Be able and willing to enrol in weekend availability, one weekend in four (Paid OT)
On offer
- A basic salary of £44,960.15 (based on 40 hours per week). OT is readily available, with current Engineers working on average 50-55 hours per week (OTE £58K)
- OT paid at 1.35 x hourly rate weekdays, 1.5 x Saturdays and 2.0 x Sundays and Bank Holidays (+ day in lieu)
