Service Engineer

You're a Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineering who knows coding / marking / labelling / inkjet machinery or PPMA capital equipment? Break into Field Service Engineering or just boost your career by joining our small but fast-growing business as our multi skilled Service Engineer. Quality of life is important - there's very occasional staying away (most field jobs are completed in a day). You'll install, commission, repair, fault-find and provide scheduled maintenance to industrial manufacturing sites and carry out pre-commissioning, repair and maintenance work at our site in Kettering.

BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Multi skilled Service Engineer, Service Engineer - Industrial Machinery, Inkjet / Coding / Marking / Capital Equipment, PPMA

This is a mix of Field Service Engineering and site based maintenance work with fault finding, repair, installation and commissioning / maintenance and service of fast moving capital equipment /inkjet / printing / coding / marking equipment to a wide variety to sectors including Food, Pharmaceutical, Beverage, Cosmetics, Dairy and Logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Multi skilled Service Engineer, Service Engineer - Industrial Machinery, Inkjet / Coding / Marking / Capital Equipment, PPMA

Your key tasks:
· Electro-Mechanical repair / fault find and maintenance - plus installation and commissioning of inket / coding / marking equipment to a broad range of customers.
· Site based project support / maintaining the office showroom equipment / working on in-house repairs / maintenance and pre-commissioning of machinery.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Multi skilled Service Engineer, Service Engineer - Industrial Machinery, Inkjet / Coding / Marking / Capital Equipment, PPMA

As our Service Engineer, you will:
· A truly multi skilled Service / Maintenance engineer
· Happy to stay away on occasion (with notice)
· Experience of industrial capital equipment is required. Any exposure to PPMA / Inkjet / Coding / Marking / machinery would be an obvious advantage.
· Flexible and able to support all aspects of the business in a small team.
· Someone who will see the potential in a well-run, profitable, successful small business and wants to help it grow.
