The Role:
Our client is looking for a motivated Trainee Compressed Air Engineer to join their dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering who are seeking to build a career in the compressed air industry. Extensive training and development will be provided, making this role particularly suitable for individuals transitioning from other sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine checks and diagnostics to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air systems.
  • Learn to interpret system and equipment drawings, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Work closely with experienced engineers to gain practical skills and in-depth knowledge of compressed air systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and providing effective solutions.
  • Always maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in the military or similar structured environments is highly valued.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
