Job Title: Quality & Technical Manager

We are hiring for a Quality & Technical Manager to support a small food factory with their product development and compliance efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with the relevant accreditations to take ownership of quality assurance and technical procedures within a dynamic environment.
Duties of a Quality & Technical Manager
You will be working closely with the leadership and operations teams and will be responsible for:
- Product and business development to support growth.
- Customer engagement and communication, ensuring satisfaction and alignment.
- Managing shipments, certifications, and documentation.
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining compliance procedures.
- Ensuring adherence to BRCGS standards and managing preparation for audits.
- Presenting during audits and ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered and compliant.
- Developing recipes and ensuring their confidentiality by signing appropriate agreements.
- Assisting with staff training on compliance and quality standards.
- Other general duties to support the smooth operation of the factory.
Skills and Experience of a Quality & Technical Manager
As a Quality & Technical Manager, you need to have experience with:
- Food industry standards and certifications, including BRCGS.
- Compliance management and audit preparation.
- Recipe development and confidentiality processes.
It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and shipments.
- An ability to work long-term in a committed and settled capacity.
