Job Role: Senior Composite TechnicianLocation: PeterboroughSalary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum
The role:
Responsible for leading the carbon infusion facility and managing a team of composite technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the composite team to meet production deadlines.
- Hands-on laminating and resin infusion of production components.
- Lead and mentor laminators and trimmers, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Train and guide new team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Support the Head of Operations and Head of Development in optimising manufacturing processes and equipment usage.
The Candidate:
- 5-7 years of experience as a composite technician in motor sport, automotive, or aerospace industries.
- Strong expertise in infusion techniques.
- Proven ability to work with technical drawings and layup books
- Experience with various materials and composite manufacturing processes, including: hand lay-up, trimming, bonding and assembly, pattern and mould-making
- Demonstrated team leadership skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
