The role:

Responsible for leading the carbon infusion facility and managing a team of composite technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the composite team to meet production deadlines.
  • Hands-on laminating and resin infusion of production components.
  • Lead and mentor laminators and trimmers, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Train and guide new team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Support the Head of Operations and Head of Development in optimising manufacturing processes and equipment usage.

The Candidate:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a composite technician in motor sport, automotive, or aerospace industries.
  • Strong expertise in infusion techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with technical drawings and layup books
  • Experience with various materials and composite manufacturing processes, including: hand lay-up, trimming, bonding and assembly, pattern and mould-making
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
