Senior Account Manager

Remote, with occasional office travel to Lincoln

Macildowie are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Senior Account Manager to join a leading business that we are excited to be supporting with their search. This role demands an individual with strong relationship-building skills, a keen eye for identifying opportunities, and the ability to drive strategic growth.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage key accounts, explore new business opportunities, and represent the organization at relevant industry events.

The Role:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as the primary contact for key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Address client issues proactively, providing customized solutions and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Travel frequently to meet clients, local authorities, and partners, representing the business at industry events and exhibitions.
  • Independently analyze CRM data to identify leads, opportunities, and impactful meetings while monitoring competitor activity to adjust strategies.
  • Engage in retention efforts, minimizing client losses and leveraging internal resources to resolve challenges.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to maximize upselling, cross-selling, and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless client support and drive business growth.
  • Present innovative ideas and high-level feedback to leadership for continuous improvement and strategic development.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, monitoring market trends, and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Maintain professionalism and flexibility while managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating client data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales management tools.
  • Advanced negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Motivated and flexible, with a high degree of autonomy and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas, strategies, and solutions confidently.
