An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer with 5 - 9 years of post graduate experience to join an independent engineering and surveying consultancy. This role offers excellent benefits, hybrid working and a competitive salary.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will oversee the civil and structural engineering design across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education developments.
They will also consider Associate Structural Engineers and Principal Structural Engineers.
You will be responsible for:
- Effectively manage your workload to meet client needs and project deadlines.
- Provide supervision and guidance to engineers and technicians as required.
- Prepare precise reports and comprehensive project documentation.
- Represent the company with confidence in meetings, maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Structural Engineer, Structural Design Engineer, Civil Engineer, Chartered Engineer or in a similar role.
- Possess 5 - 9 years of post graduate experience.
- Hold a BEng / MEng qualification.
- Chartered or working towards chartership status through IStructE or ICE.
- Background in design and structural analysis across various materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Skilled in relevant engineering design software.
- Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.
