We are currently seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Northampton on a maternity cover basis. The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated KS2 Teacher to deliver high-quality education to students in Key Stage 2. This role requires a nurturing and adaptable individual who can maintain continuity in learning while making a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions where needed.

• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.

• Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff to ensure a smooth transition during maternity cover.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom discipline.

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.

• Uphold safeguarding and welfare responsibilities in line with school policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

• Qualifications: A relevant degree in Education or a related subject, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

• Skills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.

• Training: Familiarity with safeguarding policies, assessment strategies, and inclusive teaching practices.

To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:

• Advanced Teaching Experience: Extensive experience in teaching KS2 with a proven track record of student progress.

• Leadership or Coordinator Roles: Experience as a subject lead, phase leader, or involvement in extracurricular activities.

• Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in primary education, including advanced training in literacy, numeracy, or SEN support.
