The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school in the absence of teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom order, and supporting students’ learning across a range of subjects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a class of students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure that students remain engaged and focused.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure all students adhere to school behaviour policies.
- Support students with their work and encourage independent learning.
- Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Essential).
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting (Desirable).
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and patient approach to working with students.
- An interest in education and supporting student development.
