HR Project Partner

Leicestershire (4 days a week in the office)

£45,000-65,000

Our Client is a high profile global retailer with a strong CSR agenda. They have a company and independently self-funded non-profit organisation supporting activities that help meet the needs of today's communities, society and programmes that will support future generations. The Foundation has been a proud supporter of programs with a focus on socioeconomic initiatives.

Your role within the organisation and your work makes a positive impact on people in both the UK & US. You’ll feel a deep sense of purpose throughout the organisation with employees committed to volunteering within the Foundation and making a positive community impact.

You will lead the development of the current and future strategy of the Foundation for the Foundation Board of Directors alongside Corporate Board within the retailer.

With the approval of the Board, you will design and implement a grant management system for the Foundation including strategic priorities, policies, procedures and guidelines, budget allocation, program development, and program evaluation in compliance within the relevant UK and US framework

Key Responsibilities

  • Account & Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Take ideas from concept to delivery in a planned, organised, and logical manner, ensuring all activities stay on track.
  • Governance & Assessment: Evaluate applications to the Foundation, conducting due diligence to align with our purpose and governance standards.
  • Charitable Portfolio Oversight: Manage a portfolio of charitable partnerships and agreements, maintaining excellent communication and monitoring progress through evaluations.
  • Event Management: Represent the Foundation at external events, organise internal and external meetings, and oversee an annual events calendar to support nominations and attendance.
  • Strategic Implementation: Support the delivery of the Foundation’s strategy, including designing and managing company volunteering initiatives and reporting on KPIs.
  • High-Quality Reporting: Prepare written reports and oral presentations for senior leaders and external audiences, including financial summaries, monitoring data, and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Account & Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage relationships, communication, and projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong Reporting Skills: Confidence in writing content suitable for senior leadership, including CEOs, and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Comfort with financial reports, management information, and supporting decisions with sound numerical analysis.
  • Event Planning: Experienced in organising and attending events that enhance the Foundation’s visibility and impact.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in every task.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building lasting relationships with partners, trustees, colleagues, and volunteers.
  • Proactive and Creative: Someone who seeks out opportunities, demonstrates initiative, and approaches challenges with tenacity and creativity.
