This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the social media strategy, enhance brand presence, and contribute directly to business objectives.  About the Role:As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing their social media strategy across various platforms, with a strong focus on engaging B2B audiences. You will create compelling content, including video, manage our online communities, analyse performance, and ensure our social media activities align seamlessly with our overall marketing and business goals.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B social media strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day activities across all relevant social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, potentially others).
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, images, and video) tailored to B2B audiences and specific platforms.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos suitable for social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry conversations to identify opportunities.
  • Analyse social media metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimise performance and demonstrate ROI.
  • Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages professionally, and foster positive relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and platform updates.  
About You:
  • Proven experience within Social Media marketing, with demonstrable success specifically within a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy development and implementation for B2B lead generation and brand building.
  • Excellent content creation skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B social media work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software 
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Leicester.
