This role covers a 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm shift

This is a hands-on, technical role working with advanced coating equipment and precision optical components. If you have a solid understanding of optical processes or a background in engineering, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:-
Running high-spec coating processes across various plants

Measuring and assessing optical quality using spectrophotometers

Identifying and correcting defects to ensure perfect results

Supporting new product development and continuous improvement

Performing preventative maintenance and ensuring clean, efficient operations

Collaborating with other departments to meet customer specifications

Training and supporting colleagues within the team

Qualifications in Maths and/or Physics (GCSE or A-level)

Solid understanding of optical manufacturing or relevant engineering background

Great communication and computer skills

Detail-focused with good handling skills

Motivated, enthusiastic, and confident team player

Experience with ultrasonic cleaning and environmental testing to ISO/MIL standards
