Working for a large provider of social housing in the Midlands

Description

  • You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs in social housing
  • Works will be based in the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire)
  • You must be a competent carpenter/joiner however must also be able to complete basic repairs in other trades such as; plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting/decorating etc
  • You must provide a high level of customer service working in tenanted properties

Profile

  • Ideally you will have relevant qualifications in carpentry & joinery e.g NVQs or City & Guilds
  • Previous experience working on similar social housing repairs and maintenance contracts
  • A valid UK driving license
  • Asbestos awareness, Working at heights and Manual handling qualifications would be beneficial
