Sonic Summary

The position is for a Multi Trade Plasterer focused on social housing repairs and maintenance in the East Midlands, specifically Leicestershire.
Candidates should have at least some previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance, ideally with a recognized qualification in Plastering (NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds).
The role involves performing responsive repairs primarily in plastering, as well as basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, and other general building tasks.
A full UK driving license is required, and additional qualifications such as Asbestos awareness, Working at Heights, and Manual Handling are desirable.
The job offers a long-term temporary contract with the potential for permanent employment after a successful period, and a van and fuel card will be provided.

Client Details

Our client is a Midlands based Housing Association with a large concentration of housing stock in Leicester and surrounding areas.

Description

You will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied properties
You will be required to carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, primarily plastering repairs however you will also be required to undertake basic repairs in carpentry, plumbing, decorating and other general building works

Profile

Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in Plastering (NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds)
Previous experience working in social housing repairs and maintenance is essential
Other qualifications such as; Asbestos awareness, Working at Heights and Manual Handling are desirable
Full UK Driving License
Van & Fuel Card provided
