We are seeking a Premises Officer to join our clients team, ensuring the security, maintenance, and cleanliness of allocated sites and facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards and promoting Leicester City Council’s policies and procedures.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain and secure premises, including routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Implement Health & Safety legislation continuously to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee work carried out by contractors and report to the Head of Service.
  • Manage the treatment and testing of the spa pool at Parkfield Nursery.
  • Handle the reception and transportation of educational, cleaning, and stationary deliveries to the appropriate storage areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and oversee contractors.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's policies and procedures.
