Day-to-day of the role:- Utilise a council-provided vehicle, equipped with essential building materials.Â
- Receive your daily job allocations through a work mobile phone provided by the Works Planning team.
- Travel across the city to carry out maintenance tasks in carpentry, plastering, roofing, and ground working.
- Finish your workday by 4pm from Monday to Thursday and by 3:30pm on Friday, allowing you ample time for personal activities.
- Occasionally work overtime during evenings and weekends, with plenty of notice provided.
- Full valid driving licence is essential.
- Proven experience in the carpentry, plastering, roofing, or ground working industries.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with city residents.
