Payroll Administrator  Salary £23,400 per annum Location, Leicester (Hybrid Working)  Hours 37.5 hours per weekOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Payroll Administrator to deliver exceptional payroll services to employees across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone eager to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness, working as part of a supportive team to process weekly and monthly payroll for a large workforce. This role plays an essential part in maintaining smooth payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on schedule.Duties
  • Ensure all employee data is accurately entered into payroll systems, completing necessary updates before payroll cut-off.
  • Process payroll data accurately and timely, ensuring employees are paid on time.
  • Maintain high standards of financial controls in payroll processes to mitigate risks through adherence to procedures and policies.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with site teams and third parties, handling inquiries professionally.
  • Organise and file payroll documents for compliance, ensuring records are accessible for audit purposes.
  • Complete accurate filing at month-end and adapt daily task sequencing as required.
  • Meet strict payroll deadlines, demonstrating resilience and composure under pressure.
