Hunter AHP Resourcing is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Clinical MMT Pharmacy Technician to join a dedicated pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting and make a valuable contribution to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to the Medicines Management Team (MMT) in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across the hospital
- Undertake clinical screening and medicines reconciliation
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide medicines advice to patients and staff
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services within the hospital setting
- Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting (clinical MMT experience preferred)
- Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Competitive hourly rate (£18 - £23 depending on experience)
- Ongoing contract with the potential for extension
