We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic acute hospital team in Leicester. This role focuses on supporting winter pressures within our acute wards, ensuring timely and effective discharge planning for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatments in an acute setting
- Support efficient discharge planning to enhance patient flow
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Contribute to service delivery during the busy winter period
- Registered with the HCPC as a Physiotherapist
- Previous experience in acute hospital settings
- Strong skills in discharge planning and complex case management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
