Hays are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber on behalf of our client, to join the Leicester team on a permanent contract, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out response plumbing maintenance tasks within social housing properties across the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire region.
Hours: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 37 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete response plumbing tasks and repairs to a high standard.
- Address household issues such as leaks, bathroom fittings.
- Liaise with the Customer Care team to provide the best assistance for each customer.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Travel to different sites according to your rota, with quarterly sector reviews to ensure efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Plumber with relevant experience and a minimum Level 2 NVQ.
- Proficiency with smartphones/tablets is desirable.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills.

- The ability to use initiative, both independently and as part of a team, to complete tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
