Your new roleHays are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber on behalf of our client, to join their Leicester team on a permanent contract, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out response plumbing maintenance tasks within social housing properties across the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire region.Hours: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMDuties & Responsibilities

  • Complete response plumbing tasks and repairs to a high standard.
  • Address household issues such as leaks, bathroom fittings.
  • Liaise with the Customer Care team to provide the best assistance for each customer.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Travel to different sites according to your rota, with quarterly sector reviews to ensure efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Plumber with relevant experience and a minimum Level 2 NVQ.
  • Proficiency with smartphones/tablets is desirable.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to use initiative, both independently and as part of a team, to complete tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
