If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Location: LeicesterShift: Monday - FridayHours: 15:00pm - 20:00pm Hourly Rate: £13.37 basic rate (additional rate for overtime)About the roleYou’ll start your day in the local delivery office,  before setting out  in a provided van to complete your Collection round. You will be traveling to local businesses and post offices to collect post and parcels. You’ll each be given a hand-held computer device which will act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route.About YouUpbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be as happy working alone as well as working as part of a team and getting to know different people on your round. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.We deliver post/parcels come rain or shine, so we’re looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, you’ll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit.Some experience in a customer facing role would be ideal.Driving licence requirementsA full UK manual driving licence required (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.Royal Mail is one of the UK’s best-loved brands.
