Hays Education is working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Leicester (LE4) to find a Year 1 Teacher to join their vibrant learning community. The school are looking for a teacher with excellent behaviour management skills to take on this long-term, full-time role from January 2025 until the end of the academic year. Your new role

In your new job as a Teacher with Hays, you will play an essential role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment where children can explore, learn and grow. You will take on planning and marking responsibilities supported by the classes established Teaching Assistant. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in your new job, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working in a school setting. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong experience in Key Stage 1. You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support children with EHCPs or who speak English as an additional language. Most importantly, you'll b confident stepping in to a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
