We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Primary Teacher with Spanish to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Melton Mowbray. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact in the classroom and be part of a supportive educational community.

The Role:

We are looking for a Qualified Primary Teacher to join a fantastic team of professionals in providing high-quality, engaging education to children at the primary school level. Your role will include planning and delivering exciting lessons in Spanish, alongside your usual class responsibilities. The position is initially temporary, with the potential for a permanent offer depending on the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of primary school students
  • Teach Spanish in an engaging way, encouraging children to develop language skills through fun and interactive activities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that nurtures respect, creativity, and a love for learning
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student development and well-being
  • Contribute to curriculum development and actively participate in team meetings and school events

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (Desirable but not essential)
  • Fluency in Spanish / the ability to teach Spanish at the primary school level.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, creating a dynamic and engaging classroom environment
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and a clear understanding of how to meet the varied learning needs of students

To Be Considered for the Higher End of the Salary Bracket:

  • Extensive Primary Teaching Experience: Proven track record of delivering outstanding primary education, with a focus on language learning
  • Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in primary education, particularly in language teaching or relevant certifications
