Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming school in Beaumont Leyswho are seeking a proactive and dedicated Qualified Teaching Assistant to workon a full-time, temporary basis in a Year 3/4 class. The successful candidate will be a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupilsYour new roleAs a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting this Year 3/4 class alongside their class teacher. From planning and delivering learning activities for individual pupils and groups to assessing and reporting on student progress - a Teaching Assistant provides essential classroom support. In this job, you will work closely with class teachers to support andassess pupils' learning. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job, you will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification. You'll also have experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Key Stage 2 class - ideally you will have a strong phonics knowledge base and experience supporting SEN pupils. Most importantly, you'll need to be proactive and energetic - able to confidently support pupils and get stuck in with different classroom activities.What you'll get in return
