Description

  • Lead and provide direction to collection teams
  • Implement effective strategies for debt recovery across credit advisors and team leaders
  • Work to improve current processes and ways of working to maximise productivity and essentially reduce debt
  • Build strong relationships
  • Use reporting to understand where the team are at and where improvements need to be made
  • Drive a well motivated and collaborative team
  • Coach, guide and support those within the collections department
  • Design and monitor recovery strategies
  • Analysis of performance KPIs, presenting back to the business around progress, wins, opportunities and risks
  • Collaborate with other departments and have strong stakeholder management
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment

Profile

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in debt recovery within a similar industry involving corporate debt not just domestic
  • Understand litigation and have experience of making decisions within litigation
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Be technologically savvy and pick things up quick
  • Comprehensive understanding of debt collection regulations and procedures
  • Be confident and credible to work closely with Head of and CEO
