The Role:
A leading company in the toy and games industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager. This key position involves managing the development of both licensed and non-licensed product ranges. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, ensuring that designs align with market demands and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the planning and development of product ranges, ensuring they reflect current trends and meet consumer preferences.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to market launch, ensuring quality and market readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, procurement, and sales teams to develop innovative and commercially viable products.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research and trend analysis to inform product strategies.
  • Project Prioritisation: Manage product development projects, prioritising based on commercial impact and available resources.
  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate with external partners to ensure products align with brand guidelines and market requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use sales data and customer feedback to refine and improve product offerings.
  • Product Specifications: Develop clear product specifications for procurement and manufacturing, ensuring consistency across departments.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues during development to keep projects on track.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Product Development Expertise: Extensive experience managing the full product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Market Research Proficiency: Skilled in conducting market research, trend analysis, and understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Brand and Compliance Knowledge: Experience in maintaining brand consistency and ensuring products meet relevant standards.
