We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join a sales led, fast-paced critical component manufacturer to lead a team of up to 30 operators over a 24x5 shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly production output to support the overall sales plan
- Manage variable cost and utilise the labour within the cell to achieve maximum output
- Work closely with the Quality & Engineering teams to analyse and rectify issues in production
- Lead, support and develop skilled operators through training plans, 121s and performance reviews to remove single point of failure issues
- Handle high-pressure situations, particularly during the end-of-month rush, ensuring smooth workflow and timely shipping
- Implement and drive Lean, 6S behaviours
We are looking for Production Managers with the following skills & experience:
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal with a background in heat treatment processes
- Strong ability to handle pressure, especially during peak
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH) is desirable
- Confident decision-maker with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Adaptability to learn and implement company-specific processes
