Psychology Graduate - SEN School Support | Immediate Start
Are you a recent Psychology graduate passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join a vibrant Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Leicester!
About the Role:
- Location: Leicester (easily commutable from surrounding areas)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Position: Full-time, long-term placement with potential for permanent roles
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your psychology knowledge in a real-world setting, supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. You'll be working closely with experienced SEN staff, providing tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with diverse learning needs
- Help develop individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver specialised interventions
What We're Looking For:
- A Psychology degree (or equivalent)
- A passion for supporting children with SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude
- Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is a plus, but not essential
