Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company in their search for a Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Leicester.
For the successful Machine Operative, our client is offering:
- Starting salary of £28,955.52 per annum
- Monday to Friday 8am - 3.30pm with a potential to move to double days in the future 6am-1:30pm / 1:30pm - 21:00pm
- Permanent contract

- Overtime at x1.5 (£22.18 per hour)
The role – Machine Operative:
- Basic machine operation duties
- Packing glued cartons into corrugated outer cases and apply labels
- Moving pallets of unglued cartons onto line
- Moving pallets of glued cartons into Despatch department
- Correctly complete paperwork
- General housekeeping of the machines and department
- Liaise with the quality department where required
- Other duties as instructed by the lead operator
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative:
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience working with manufacturing machinery - ESSENTIAL
- Experience working within Print, Packaging, Food or Pharmaceuticals - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
- IT Literacy - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- Ability to maintain hygiene and procedural standards required in our industry
