Are you organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy streamlining processes? As an Assistant Buyer, you'll have a key role in ensuring efficient order management across sites and ERP systems.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to join a stable and expanding company to manage day-to-day material orders, manage relationships, cost-reducing activities and ensure continuous improvement across the ERP systems. This is a Monday to Friday Hybrid position.

This company is a reputable Civil Engineering business that specialises in infrastructure, public projects and utilities. This family-owned business primarily operates across the central parts of England. Your contribution will be essential to the continuing success of this role and will come with a level of self-sufficiency.

The duty of the role is to accurately raise and issue material and plant orders for all areas of the business while concentrating on the company's requirements. Preferred Experience with cost savings, cultivating connections with suppliers, and broadening knowledge and comprehension of the Civil Engineering industry.

The Role:

* Raise and issue orders based on specifications

* Assist with Lean procurement process

* Work within a team and support other departments

* Maintain and build new relationships

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous Buying experience

* Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Civils and Infrastructures background

* Proficient in Microsoft packages

* CIPS level 3 qualification - desired but not essential
