Macildowie Procurement, Supply Chain & LogisticsGNFR In-Direct Buyer - Up to £55,000 Per Annum - LeicesterMonday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Company Vehicle AvailableMacildowie Procurement has recently partnered with a business in Leicester to recruit a GNFR In-Direct Buyer to join their growing team.The key objective will be to manage all internal IT contracts including tender renewal processes, no-boarding, SLA's and supplier performance. Main Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate future suppliers for our clients IT services that include IT hardware and IT software.
- Prepare and manage RFPs, incorporating detailed specifications, contract terms and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams to create robust contracts, define SLAs and establish KPIs to drive supplier accountability.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and manage operational and strategic reviews.
- Oversee purchase order accuracy, invoice processing and budget preparation.
- Mitigate risk in the supply chain though dual sourcing, buffer stock agreements and identifying alternative solutions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and delivering supplier and inventory reports for stakeholders.
- Support strategic supplier relationships and contract management to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of goods and services.
- Lead on supplier development plans for addressing under-performance, ensure a professional approach to sourcing, and conduct benchmarking analysis and market testing for key clients.
The Candidate
- Previous In-Direct/GNFR Procurement background.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to lead a procurement team.
- Ability to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Experience managing procurement for a multi-site organisation.
- Able to travel to Leicester.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- IT Procurement experience Desirable.
