This is a six-month contract offering hybrid (3 days from their offices).
Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, you can develop and present sourcing strategies and category plans using market data and partner with cross-functional teams, while implementing sourcing strategies.
You can negotiate and manage suppliers, resolving issues as they arise, ensure contract compliance, and support sites with best purchasing practices. You will also provide commercial updates and ensure procurement’s value is clear to stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in cost savings and process improvement
- Expertise in indirect procurement is desirable or a strong purchasing background in other areas of spend
- MCIPS or equivalent (or working towards).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills
- Agile and flexible to take on board different tasks and projects
