Job Title: Buyer Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: South Leicestershire Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 The Procurement & Supply Chain division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a very exciting Buyer opportunity based in South Leicestershire. This opportunity will be joining a well-established, international business, with their UK head office based in Leicestershire. As a Buyer, you will work within a small team of Buying professionals and report directly into the Purchasing Manager. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Uploading product information, parts descriptions and SKU's on to the internal database. - Handling inbound enquiries, requests or issues raised from customers and suppliers. - Raising and processing high volume purchase orders. - Handling and investigating outstanding/delayed orders with a level of urgency. - Liaising with suppliers to manage service level agreements, quality control and lead times. - Supporting senior buyers with sourcing and onboarding new suppliers and preparing reporting packs ahead of supplier meetings. The successful candidate for the Buyer opportunity will have previous experience working in a similar Buyers role before, or have experience in a Purchasing, Sales Support or Order Processing role and be looking for your next development opportunity. This Buyer job will be working within a fast paced and demanding environment, so it is essential that you: - Are able to work under pressure and prioritise key tasks. - Are highly organised and adaptable. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - IT Literate - experienced using Microsoft Packages. - Have previous experience liaising with external customers and suppliers. - Are a true team player.
