Assistant Quantity Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi award-winning interior fit out contractor who work on some of the UK's most prestigious interior fit out projects for extremely high net worth private clients across Hotels, Luxury Residential and Commercial projects.

Due to a large number of project wins my client are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work out of their offices in Leicestershire. You will have access to high level mentorship with long standing senior level peers and work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will assist in your growth and development.

About the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

Given the nature of the work this is a fast paced environment so would suit someone who has some experience within the fit-out sector or is capable of learning and acquiring new skills in a short amount of time with support and ongoing training and works well under pressure.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for working on packages of between 25k - 1m in value and have exposure to projects up to 20m in value.

Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

Assist in the commercial responsibility for a diverse range of projects
Work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Responsible for their own packages ranging from 25k - 1m
Ability to work on own initiative

Requirements for Assistant Quantity Survey role

Construction qualification, minimum HNC
Min 3 years' experience in a contracting environment within fit out sector preferably
Self-motivated and professionally driven.
Competent with Microsoft Excel and Word.

What we offer for the Assistant Quantity Survey role

Salary: 35,000 -40,000 + benefits (may pay more for exceptional candidates)
