A leading house builder are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work from their office in LeicesterThe role:As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will work in a commercial team for a variety of house building projects across the East MidlandsYou day to day responsibilities will be as follows:Looking after the cost of house building sites within the midlands areaQuarterly valuations and cost against budgetCoordinating the setting up of sites including prestart appraisalsProducing bi-monthly cost reportsProducing fortnightly and monthly sub-contractors paymentsPrepare and analyse tendersPrepare and negotiating orders with subcontractorsNegotiate, review and instruct variations as appropriatePricing and processing of sales extras and incentivesFinal account and dispute resolution.The Company:A privately owned house builder who focus of quality developments and build traditional open market private housing developments.The Person:It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Quantity Surveyor,Senior Quantity Surveyor,Managing Quantity Surveyor,QS or Commercial Manager in a similar house building environment.
