Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + package

Looking for your next challenge in commercial management? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a Principal Contractor on Severn Trent Water projects, you'll be a key player in their Commercial team, based in Leicester. Hybrid working is available, giving you the flexibility to balance office and remote work.

You'll report directly to the Commercial Manager and will take full responsibility for the commercial management of various water infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects while playing a central role in cost management, contract administration, and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee the commercial management of projects and work packages
·Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to control costs
·Work collaboratively with the client to ensure business objectives are met
·Ensure all contractual notices and correspondence are raised in line with the contract
·Prepare and issue subcontract documentation
·Assist in managing and evaluating subcontractor performance
·Manage applications for payment and ensure timely submissions
·Prepare cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts
·Support the development of junior commercial staff
·Stay up-to-date with industry changes and continue your professional development
·Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach to all work

About You:
Essential:
oDegree or equivalent qualification
oProgressing towards or holding chartered membership of a recognised institution
oExperience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors
oStrong NEC3/4 contract experience

Desirable:
oExperience managing or developing a small team
